Delhi cops raid Kanda's premises in Sirsa

Though former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda's three-day police custody is ending on Tuesday, Delhi police seems to be leaving no stone unturned.
A team of six Delhi Police officials reached Sirsa around 9pm on Monday night. Cops who came in SUV cars in civil dress directly reached the palatial house of Gopal Kanda, and started their search operation.
City police station house officer Vikram Nehra reached the spot to assist the Delhi cops and and several Kanda supporters also converged towards his palatial house amid rumours that Kanda too have been taken to Sirsa.
Later, it was revealed that Delhi police did not bring Kanda with them, but had come to search some vital clues related to Geetika Sharma's previous visits to Sirsa.
After seeing Kanda supporters near Kanda's palatial house, Sirsa SP Davinder Yadav also reached the spot with police force to maintan law and order situation.
Delhi police also raided Kanda agri farm at Mangala village here, and was reported to be camping in Sirsa till 2am on Tuesday morning.
