Three months after the body of a 24-year-old domestic help was found hanging from a tree in a park adjoining the house of his employer, the local police have booked the latter and his son for murder following directions from the court.

The accused have been identified as CL Sadana and his son, Tarun Sadana, residents of Sector 18. They have been booked on the complaint of Kunvar Singh, father of deceased Dharminder Singh.

On July 14, body of Dharminder was found hanging from a tree by a passerby. The police were informed and the body was lowered after cutting the rope with which he had hanged himself. The police rushed Dharminder to the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Sector 16 where he was declared brought dead.

The victim was working for his employers for the past four years and was about to get married. After the incident, his family members had alleged that he was murdered. However, the police had termed it a suicide and had ruled out possibility of foul play as there were no injury marks on the body. No suicide note was recovered from the spot.
