The entrepreneurship summit, Udyami 2015, will commence at Panjab University (PU) from February 6.
Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PGIMER) director Dr Yogesh Chawla will be the chief guest and vice chancellor Arun Kumar Grover will preside over the inaugural function at the main law auditorium of the PU.
The three-day summit, being organised by EDC-UIET, will be held to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among youths. Many high-profile speakers, investors and entrepreneurs will take part in the event that will focus on e-commerce, stock market, job v/s entrepreneurship, seed funding and angel investors.
Sofi Zahoor, director, Quark India, Peter Shaju, international rotary head, and Salil Chopra, managing director, Reh Ce Be Enterprises Pvt Ltd, will address the session.
The founder of Slum Soccer, Abhijeet Barse, will talk about social entrepreneurship, followed by panel discussion on "path to entrepreneurial success".
Founder and CEO, Step-up Placements, Abhishek Upadhyaya, vice-president, HR Mahindra and Mahindra, Parmod Lamba, and founder, Global Success Foundation, Adwait Date, will also take part in the session moderated by joint director, Indian School of Business (ISB), SAS Nagar, Sukhmeet Singh.
