The police arrested a servant and a driver of former Haryana director general of police (DGP) SPS Rathore for molesting a woman on Thursday.

The victim was waiting for an auto-rickshaw at a departmental store near Shahpur link road in Raipur Rani when the incident took place. She was going to pay obeisance at a shrine in Dakra.
A Maruti 800 car, bearing registration number CH01 M 0323, came and stopped by the departmental store. The owner of the shop requested the car occupants to take the woman to Dakra.

The women joined Rathore's driver Chatra Pal, servant Ram Kishan and gunman Devinder in the car.

The woman told the police that on the way they started molesting her. She said when she protested they stopped the car. Hearing her cries, a passerby Balbir Singh reached to help her, while the three men fled from the spot.

On the complaint of the woman, SHO, Raipur Rani police station, inspector RK Singh registered a case under Section 354 (for molestation) read with section 34 (for common intention) of IPC.

A team led by the SHO arrested the driver and the servant from near Rathore's farmhouse in Badhaur. "We will arrest the gunman soon," said Singh.

Rathore is presently on bail granted by the Supreme Court on November 11, 2010. He spent around six months in Burail jail while serving sentence of 18 months for molesting Ruchika.

Ruchika had committed suicide on December 28, 1993, three years after being molested by Rathore.
