Bathinda deputy commissioner KK Yadav will be on training from July 2 to August 24, and the Faridkot DC, Ravi Bhagat, will in his absence, hold the additional charge of Bathinda.

The interim charge of the Amritsar DC, Rajat Agarwal, will go to Priyank Bharti, his counterpart in Jalandhar.

The Punjab government on Saturday also transferred India Administrative Service (IAS) officer Tanu Kashyap, additional secretary (co-operation), and posted her as deputy commissioner (DC), Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahr), in place of Shruti Singh, who will also be on training from July 2.

A state government spokesperson said here on Saturday that with two other DCs to proceed on training, the authorities had given the additional charge of their jurisdictions to the DCs from adjoining districts.
