Lawlessness was as its peak outside a city discotheque in the wee hours of Monday when a group of four youths fired indiscriminately at people, leaving three injured.

The incident occurred outside the Score discotheque in Sector 8.

As per the CCTV camera footage, between 2:09am to 2:12am, at least nine bullets were fired by a group of four youths — Kamal, Harman, Jaspreet and Paramjit — after they were refused drinks by the disco’s staff as it was closing for the night.

The accused insisted on having drinks, leading to a scuffle.

The bouncers physically removed the accused from the disco, following which, one of the youths took out a gun and started firing indiscriminately.

Those injured have been identified as Akashdeep of Nayagaon, Shilpa Rai of Delhi and Deep Kumar, an employee of the discotheque.

The Sector 3 police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 of the IPC and 25-27-54-59 of the Arms Act.

As per the CCTV footage, the accused had entered the disco at about 11:35pm on Sunday and had drinks.

They danced till 2am and even threw currency notes in the air.

When the accused insisted on having more drinks, the club staff told them that the bar was closed.

The accused then asked the staff to allow them to smoke on the floor.

After this the bouncers threw them out of the club.

One of the accused then went to parking lot and picked a gun from their car after breaking its windowpane as he could not find the key.

Before fleeing the spot, the accused removed both the number plates of their car parked nearby.
