Five cases of theft, snatching registered

Various incidents of snatching and thefts were reported from across the city on Wednesday. Data Ram, a resident of Dadumajra, alleged that two people on a motorcycle snatched his gold chain, mobile phone and Rs 5,000 near dumping ground, Sector 38. The police later managed to nab the accused, Sonu, a resident of Sector 25.

Various incidents of snatching and thefts were reported from across the city on Wednesday. Data Ram, a resident of Dadumajra, alleged that two people on a motorcycle snatched his gold chain, mobile phone and Rs 5,000 near dumping ground, Sector 38. The police later managed to nab the accused, Sonu, a resident of Sector 25.

In a separate incident, Shreya Arora of Sector 49, reported that her scooter (CH-49T-4567) was stolen from near Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Sector 15.

Charanjit Singh of SAS Nagar said someone took away his motorcycle (PB-70-B-8717) from Sector 22-B market. In another incident, Deepak Kumar of Phase 1, Ramdarbar, reported that someone stole his motorcycle (CH-04-F-7643) from outside his house. DK Mishra of Sector 31 reported that someone took away his motorcycle (UP-14T-0724) from Kisan Mandi, Sector 34. Police have registered separate cases of theft in all incidents.
