Five Punjab districts get new DCs

The Punjab government today transferred five IAS and one Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officer and posted new deputy commissioners in five districts of the state.

The Punjab government on Friday transferred five IAS and one Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officer and posted new deputy commissioners in five districts of the state.


Alaknanda Dayal, special secretary, finance, has been transferred as Kapurthala deputy commissioner in place of Paramjit Singh who has been posted as Sri Muktsar Sahib DC, an official spokesman said here.

Arshdeep Singh Sri Muktsar Sahib DC has been transferred as DC Moga and Kavita Mohan Singh Chauhan, additional secretary planning, has been transferred as Barnala DC.

Amit Dhaka, additional deputy commissioner, development, Amritsar, has been transferred as Mansa DC in place of CS Talwar.

Meanwhile, DPS Kharbanda, PCS, secretary road transport authority (RTA) at Ferozepur has been transferred as MD pepsu road transport corporation (PRTC) at Patiala.
