Former Haryana assistant advocate general, Anuradha Bali alias Fiza had preserved all the SMS and messages sent by former deputy chief minister of Haryana Chander Mohan on a CD.
The CD containing these SMS, which were exchanged between Chander Mohan and Anuradha Bali, are part of the 50 CDs seized from the sector 48 house, where Fiza was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Monday.
The police and the forensic team checking the house and the cars owned by Fiza for clues made this seizure on Wednesday. Most of the seized CDs were of movies, religious and a few that contained digitised messages.
"We are investigating the reasons leading to Fiza's death and as part of the investigations, we searched the house and recovered 50 CDs and jewellery. Till now, we have not found anything objectionable," said SAS Nagar SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar. He added that her close contacts were also being questioned.
The forensic team on Wednesday inspected the house in sector 48 all over again, along with the Santro car and the Honda CRV parked in the backyard, which was owned by Fiza.
During the search, the team found a half-filled bottle of water and a plastic glass from the car. Beside, the team picked up fingerprints both from the house and the cars, Fiza's medical documents and the bills of Hotel Rajshree, which Fiza visited on August 1 with a friend.
Meanwhile, the questioning of the "close" associates of Fiza continued on Wednesday. The police recorded the statement of Ajit Singh Hooda, who was the last person she spoke to on August 1. The police also questioned Rohit Mahajan, a close friend of Fiza's.
