Four IAS officers shifted

In a minor administrative rejig, the Punjab government on Wednesday posted IAS officer Vineet Kumar as the Moga subdivisional magistrate (SDM) and Surinder Kaur as commissioner of the Municipal Corporation (MC), Moga.

The government posted Rubinderjit Singh Brar as the Sultanpur Lodhi SDM, who also holds the additional post of deputy secretary, public grievances and pensioners' welfare, and Tejdeep Singh Saini, a Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officer, as the Rupnagar SDM, according to a release.

Meanwhile, IAS officer Vikas Pratap, who holds the post of secretary (personnel), has been given the additional charge of secretary (vigilance) and managing director, Punjab Communications (Puncom). Manjit Singh Narang, posted as special secretary (protocol), will also hold the additional charge of secretary (coordination), special secretary (revenue), while Vipul Ujwal has been posted as additional secretary (water supply and sanitation). Both Narang and Ujwal are also IAS officers.
