Four killed, one hurt in mishap near Nangal

Four persons were killed, while one was injured after a car hit a culvert near Ajouli village near Nangal on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Himanshu of Gurgaon, Rakesh of Delhi, Gagan of Anandpur Sahib, his uncle Gautam, while Ajay Kumar of Najafgarh sustained severe injuries. He was admitted to BBMB hospital at Nangal.

The accident took place on the Nangal-Anandpur Sahib road on Tuesday afternoon when the victims were returning after visiting Naina Devi temple and Baba Balak Nath temple, Himachal Pradesh, in their Maruti swift car (HR26S-2861).

The speeding car hit the parapet of a culvert near Ajouli village and rammed into an adjoining house, resulting in death of four occupants of the car that was badly damaged in the accident.
