Four killed, three injured in Kashmir mishaps

Four persons, including a minor boy, were killed and three others injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley.

Four persons, including a minor boy, were killed and three others injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley.

Official sources said here that a truck hit a car at Barsoo on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Pulwama district on Wednesday morning resulting in on-the-spot death of Syed Jalal Ud Din and Syed Tariq Hussain. Two others, identified as Mohammad Jabbar Sheikh and Waheed Ahmad Bhat, were critically injured.

The injured were rushed to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), where Sheikh died.
A vehicle hit and critically wounded a ten-year-old Shakeel Ahmad Bajad at Kulan Bazar in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

One Muzaffar Ahmad Ganie was hit and injured by a vehicle at Nagisharn Shopian while Ali Begum was hit and wounded by a vehicle at Shalteang.

Bajad was shifted to local hospital from where he was referred to SKIMS in a critical condition.
