Four theft cases registered

Four cases of theft were reported from across the city. Gurjit Singh of Sector 40-C reported that someone had stolen `17,000 in cash and gold jewellery from his house on September 30.

Four cases of theft were reported from across the city. Gurjit Singh of Sector 40-C reported that someone had stolen `17,000 in cash and gold jewellery from his house on September 30.

Vijay Kumar of Colony Number 4 reported that someone has stolen his purse containing `4000 in cash, mobile phone and documents from near the Government School, Colony Number 4, on September 30. Later, accused Pardeep Kumar of Colony number 4 was arrested.

In another case, Vikas Mehra of Sector 33-D reported that someone had stolen his Honda City car (CH-03F-7072) from near his house on September 29.

Aniket Goyal of Sector 10, Panchkula, reported that someone had stolen his Splendor motorcycle (PB-11AH-3895) from the parking of DT Mall, Manimajra, on September 19.


Woman's bag snatched

A woman became a victim of snatching here on Tuesday. Neelam Kaur of Sector 22-B reported that a motorcycle rider sped away after snatching her purse which contained `3000 in cash, mobile phone and some documents in the sector. The police said the woman could not note down the registration number of the vehicle. A case has been registered in the matter.
