Panjab University (PU) has invited applications for admission to MPhil in Guru Granth Sahib Studies (GGSS) at PU’s department of Punjabi.
Students may apply at the office of the department of Punjabi till July 31. An entrance test for the course would be conducted on August 5 at 10 am.
Candidates are required to secure at least 55% in their post-graduate examinations. Candidates of all streams can apply for the course.
The entrance exam would test a candidate on subjects such as philosophy, Sikh theology, history, Sikh scriptures, comparative religion and comparative and theology, among others and would be conducted Punjabi as well as English.
PU’S MPHIL ENTRANCE FUNCTIONAL AGAIN
Panjab University’s (PU) website for MPhil/PhD entrance test-2014 has once again been made functional.
The website: phdadmissions. puchd.ac.in would remain open till July 17, 2014 for candidates who had deposited their fee for the exam but were unable to complete their forms online. Candidates can fill up the forms and download their admit cards, said a university spokesperson.
MSC MICROBIOLOGY LATERAL ADMISSION
The counselling for lateral admission to MSc (honours school) microbiology-1 would be held on July 17 at 11 am at Panjab University.
A Panjab University spokesperson said that applicants must be present and also bring along original documents.
“All general category and SC/ ST category seats for the 201415 session have been allotted. Candidates belonging to these categories should not attend the counselling,” the spokesperson said.
