Passport applications of those wanting to go for Haj pilgrimage will be accepted through walk-in mode at all Passport Seva Kendras in Ambala, Ludhiana and Chandigarh till March 15.
The centre will accept applications between 9am and 12:30pm on all working days. Applicants need to fill the form online and reach the centres with required documents.
All assistant passport officers in the centres will act as a nodal officer to ensure that the Haj applicants do not face any trouble in submission of passport applications.
Giving details, Rakesh Agrawal, regional passport officer, Chandigarh, said all prospective Haj applicants could also come to the Regional Passport office, Sector 34-A, Chandigarh, on any working day to collect their passports to avoid postal delays. In case of any problem, they can contact the special Haj counter set up at the office.
