In wake of the controversy surrounding Hard Kaur’s alleged use of abusive language during a performance in Chandigarh on Wednesday night, the singer and rapper has released an apology.

In wake of the controversy surrounding Hard Kaur’s alleged use of abusive language during a performance in Chandigarh on Wednesday night, the singer and rapper has released an apology saying, “I never wanted to hurt anyone’s feelings and sentiments. My comments during my performance are totally misinterpreted and blown out of proportion. I am a rapper and ought to have certain characteristic to my music and performance style. The mood of my performance was very happy and the crowd was enjoying it to the core. I just wanted to give a rocking performance to make my fans happy. I never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings, but if someone got offended because of my songs or any of my comments, I apologise to them from the bottom of my heart.”


The British-Indian rapper performed at a city hotel during a fashion show on May 22. She reportedly used abusive language while on the stage with a Sikh gentleman who was humming the song Singh is King.
