The Father of Nation showed the path of non-violence not only to Indians, but to the entire humanity, he said and urged people to follow the ideals and principles propagated by Mahatma Gandhi.

Lal Bahadur Shastri carried forward the movement of Mahatma Gandhi and sacrificed his life for the country, the governor said.
