Haryana power board cashier robbed, shot dead in Panchkula
Four unidentified men shot at Anil Kumar, a cashier at the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) bill collection centre in Panchkula’s Industrial Area, Phase 2, and robbed him of Rs 9.5 lakh that he was going to deposit in a bank on Friday afternoon.

Police sources said the four men sped away in a white Maruti Swift car after the incident, which occurred at 3.15pm.
Five shots were fired, one of which hit Anil Kumar in the chest. He was rushed to the General Hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, where he succumbed to the bullet wound.
According to the sources, the cashier would leave the Power Colony with the cash to be deposited in a bank in Sector 12, Panchkula, at the same time daily.
Meanwhile, police have launched a hunt for the four men behind the robbery and attack.
