Haryana students frequently nabbed for cheating in exams

Youth coming from different parts of Haryana continue to be nabbed for indulging in malpractices, while appearing for different competitive examinations.

On Sunday alone, four persons, including a woman, were arrested for using mobile phones and slips during Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams conducted in different government schools across the city.
The accused, Vikrant Singh, Vipul, Sanjay and a woman Nikki, all Haryana residents, were arrested from different examination centres for indulging in malpractices in the SSC’s higher secondary level exam for various railways posts.

In the first two cases registered at the Sector 39 police station, Vikrant Singh, an Ambala resident, was arrested from Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 37, while he was jotting down something from a slip. Similarly, Nikki, a resident of Panipat, was also held while she was copying from a slip at Government Model High School, Sector 39.

Meanwhile, Vipul Kumar, a resident of Rohtak, was arrested from the examination centre of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 47. He was arrested on the complaint of the school principal as he was seen talking during the exam. The invigilator found the youth using bluetooth.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating the possibility of some racket functioning in Haryana which is helping youths in cheating during exams.
