Samvaad Sahitya Manch organised a book release function at the Chandigarh Press club here on Sunday.

"Poetry is an articulation of emotions weaved in a paradigm of appropriate words creating an imagery of the thought content and perception of the poet in which the young author Nikha Kumar has excelled" opined IAS Vivek Atrey while releasing her poetry book' Samander ki Chaah mein'.

The function commenced with versatile poetess Nikha Kumar reading out her choicest poems and ghazals from her Haryana Sahitya Akadmi Award winning book, which showed promise and literary potential of the poet.

Presiding over the function, eminent litterateur Chander Trikha appreciated poet's brevity of words exuding sprouts of thoughts.

Offering an analytical study of the book, poet Madhav Kaushik observed that grooming of any poet with guidance at a proper time was necessary while lauding Nikha's sensitivity and mastery over the language. Dr Daljit Kaur Saini read out an exhaustive paper on the book. Shiromani Sahitykar Prem Vijh conducted the ceremony largely attended by literary personalities.
