Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday launched the website www.hryvidhansabhahistory.com based on the proceedings of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
Prepared by Nalwa MLA Sampat Singh, the portal has all the proceedings of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha since the formation of the state in 1966. Singh informed Hooda that the proceedings of first session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha were held on December 6, 1966 and the photographs of the then leaders participating in the discussions could also be seen on this website.
The website also has the details of debate attended by leaders Ranbir Singh Hooda and Chiranji Lal Sharma.
He further informed Hooda that the profiles MLAs and the details about their constituencies, educational qualification, election results and their replies in the House were also available on the website. Besides, the photographs of central and state leadership had also been uploaded on the website.
Sampat Singh said anybody, either in the country or abroad, could get information about the Haryana leaders at the click of a button.
He said he would soon update the photo gallery of the website and upload the rare photographs of various political leaders.
