Goa's deputy chief minister Francis D'Souza, minister of tourism Dilip Parulekar, high commissioner of Sri Lanka to India, Prasad Kariyawasam; ambassador, embassy of the republic of Tajikistan, Saidbeg Saidov; and minister of tourism, Buganda Kingdom, Rita Namyalo Kisitu were also present on the occasion, an official release said, adding that Hooda also interacted with the craftspersons and weavers of the theme state Goa.
The release said 18 countries were taking part in the fair, this year, with Sri Lanka being a partner nation.
Stating that more than 200 folk artistes from Goa, besides a large number of them from other countries were participating in the fair, the release said the fest would remain open to public from 9.30am to 7.30pm daily till February 15.
