The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) has declared the Class 12 examination results. The exams were held in March this year.
You can check your result by going to the official website of HPBoSE. After landing on the website you need to insert your roll number in the box provided to find your result.
The boys shined in science stream, while the girls lead Arts and Commerce in the Class-12 examination results declared by HPBoSE on Thursday, with 68.64% students passing the examination, which were held in March.
Of the total 98,410 students who appeared in the examination, 67,054 passed, while 17,316 got compartment, said HPBoSE secretary Balbir Thakur. “The pass percentage has increased by 1.99%, as compared to last year’s 67.1%,” he added.
The girls scored over boys by bagging the top positions in commerce and arts, while boys dominated the merit list in science stream. Of total 41 students who made it to the merit list 23 are girls.
Keshav Rai (96.8%) of Government Senior Secondary School Daroh in Kangra district, topped the science stream, followed by Priyanshu Gautam of VM Public School Pungh Sundernagar, Ayush Sharma, of Gurukul Public School Hamirpur, both scoring 96.6% as joint second, while Vishal Bhogal (96.2%) was declared third.
In the arts stream, Amit Kumar of Government Boys School, Chamba, topped scoring 93.4%, with Aastha (90.2%) of Government School Ghangot, Hamirpur remained on second position, while Shrestha Kumari (89.6) was declared third.
Jasleen Kaur of AVN Public School Nahan bagged the first position in Commerce stream by scoring 93.8%, Sonika (93.6%) of BKD Senior Secandory School, Paonta Sahib, and Ayushi Bisht (93.2) of AVN Public School, Nahan, second and third respectively.
