The Haryana state industrial and infrastructure development corporation (HSIIDC) has finalised plot allotments for 51 projects, catalyzing a total investment of about Rs 3,000 crores and generating direct employment for more than 20,000 persons, a spokesman of HSIIDC said here on Thursday.
Stating that out of total projects finalised, 33 projects with capital investment of over Rs 2,000 crores, would be set-up at IMT Faridabad, which would generate direct employment avenues for more than 16,000 persons and for many more indirectly.
IMT Faridabad, which is being developed over an area of 1784 acres, had already allotted development works to the tune of Rs. 310.56 crores and the work at site is in full swing which is likely to be completed by April 2013, he said.
He said that the plot allotments for eight projects to be set-up at growth centre, Bawal, involving capital outlay of more than Rs 650 crores and employment generation potential for more than 2,500 persons, has also been finalised.
