INLD men involved in violence in Sohna

The Sohna constituency under the Gurgaon district witnessed one incident of violence during the polling process on Wednesday.In Patuka village in Sohna, supporters of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) fired in the air after an altercation broke between them and an independent candidate on Wednesday afternoon outside the pooling booth.

Heavy police force was deployed in the area and efforts were made throughout the day to get the community leaders to defuse the tension.
Meanwhile, in Faridabad Lok Sabha seat clashes were reported from different places. Police had to fire in the air in Nangaljat and Alimev outside polling booths. Also, an incident of stone pelting between two political parties was reported in Narayankhurd in Hathin area of district Palwal.
Faridabad also recorded the lowest voting turnout in Haryana.

Tension was brewing between the two INLD and independent candidates and their supporters following an altercation during polling on Wednesday in village Rehra, Mewat.

INLD workers booked for assault

Kurukshetra: The Indian National Lok Dal candidates and their workers were booked in two separate cases for murderous assaults in the district on Monday evening. Two separate FIRs were registered on the complaints of BJP leaders before polling.

In one case, BJP leader Madan Lal Dua alleged that his son Raj Kishan was assaulted by Jastej Singh, son of INLD candidate and former minister Jaswinder Singh Sandhu and his six other associates on Monday night. In the other incident from Thanesar, Kavi Raj, a BJP supporter, alleged that over 100 supporters of INLD candidate Ashok Arora descended at their house near Jhansa Road following a tiff over the raising of a BJP flag and assaulted him and his associates.
