After roping in rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has plans to approach Bollywood actors to campaign for the party during the state assembly elections.
According to sources, Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon and Bhojpuri actor Preeti Singhania have agreed to the party’s request. INLD is also pursuing Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol. However, party sources say, that the duo may not agree as they have campaigned for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the past.
While Janta Dal (United) leaders Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar are already campaigning for the main opposition party in Haryana, former Prime Minister and JD (S) (Janata Dal-Secular) leader HD Deve Gowda has agreed to campaign for the party and will be present in Gurgaon for a rally.
“As of now, nobody has been confirmed and our star campaigner will be Om Prakash Chautala himself. He will be present in another rally in the Badshahpur constituency in Gurgaon soon,” said an INLD spokesperson.
Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar will also attend a rally with Chautala in Gurgaon on October 12.
