Punjab deputy chief minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday said people of Haryana are united under the leadership of Om Parkash Chautala and would give an overwhelming majority to the INLD-SAD combine on October 15.

"This vindictive act has united all Haryanvis and now they are committed to teach a lesson to the party as well as its leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda. The last fort of the Congress will crumble on October 15," he said while addressing a gathering at the grain market here.

Sukhbir said he had toured various parts of Haryana and could feel a wave in favour of the INLD. "Never ever have I seen such enthusiasm among people to oust an incumbent government," he added.
The SAD president said a vote for the INLD-SAD combine would be a vote for development and social welfare.

Speaking at Tohana during a rally in favour of INLD candidate Nishan Singh Kamboj, the SAD chief announced among hearty cheers that the INLD-SAD alliance would sweep Haryana by winning 70 seats. "Chautala Sahab sab de dilan che vasde ne," he said adding no one could take him away from people"
