To protest against the alleged involvement of the Jindal steel in the coal scam, the youth wing of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) on Sunday burnt the effigies of congress MP Naveen Jindal Congress legislator Satpal Sangwan in front of local Congress bhawan here.
While addressing the party workers, state president of youth INLD brigade, Jitender Balhara demanded action against the Jindal's (Kurukshetra MP and Hisar legislator Savitri Jindal) who are allegedly involved in scams worth several crores in Karnataka.
Accusing the Center and state congress government of shielding the Jindal's he said that the ruling party has given free hand to the former for looting the country.
He also slammed investigation agency (CBI) for delaying in registering a case against the accused and demanded their arrest at the earliest. He said that UPA government has allotted coal blocks to Jindal owned Jindal Steel and Power Company, but refused coal blocks to government owned Navrattan Company Coal India.
He also slammed the Dadri Congress legislator, Satpal Sangwan for allegedly threatening and using foul language against a police officer and said that senior congress leaders obstruct government jobs by such act. He said that if public workers harass police in this manner, it would demoralise their confidence.
