It's official: Sept 4 is voting day

The Panjab University formally announced on Tuesday evening that the student council polls would be held on September 4. As for colleges, the voting day is the same, though the rest of the schedule can be slightly different. Campaigning is already in full swing, even as candidates have not yet been announced.

The Panjab University formally announced on Tuesday evening that the student council polls would be held on September 4. As for colleges, the voting day is the same, though the rest of the schedule can be slightly different. Campaigning is already in full swing, even as candidates have not yet been announced. Old warhorses SOPU and PUSU remain main contenders, but the NSUI, student wing of the Congress, has gained ground due to defections. In all, there are 12 countable groups in fray.
