Jindal, Bishnoi tweet after casting their vote

With the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, not only the citizens, but candidates and leaders from the region are tweeting after casting their vote, and informing and encouraging people to go out and cast their franchise. As elections were in three regions on Thursday, Jammu, Haryana and Chandigarh witnessed a great turnout regarding the polling percentage. They were found tweeting and "GetInked" was trending on twitter throughout the day.

Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal tweeted: "I would like to thank everyone for the kind wishes and efforts. #kurukshetra will do a Hat-trick". Even he tweeted about the success rate of voting in his region by this tweet," Voting comes to an end. #kurukshetra records the highest voter turnout with more than 75% votes polled."

Rohtak MP Deepender S Hooda has also tweeted and thanked voters for their support.

Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) chief Kuldeep Bishnoi posted a caricature on twitter with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister and he as chief minister. A total of 70% voter turnout was observed in Haryana on Thursday.

Even in Jammu chief minister Omar Abdulla tweeted: "All of you contesting or voting today - good luck. Make it a good one #2014." Moreover Jammu recorded 66.29% voting finally.

BJP candidate from Chandigarh Kirron Kher also tweeted: "I see LOVE all around me. I see HOPE everywhere. I see ENTHUSIASM all over. I see CHANGE in the coming days."

Anupam Kher, an actor and husband of Kirron Kher also tweeted saying: "Jai Ho.:) @ianuragthakur: Best wishes! Wishing @KirronKherBJP great luck today. Give her your support my friends. :) #VoteForIndia"”.He also wrote about the plight of people by tweeting,"Long queues, extremely slow process of voting. People standing in hot sun in Dhanas,Chandigarh. No water etc. Administration please note."
