The three persons arrested for allegedly robbing a Sector 4 house here were remanded in six-day judicial custody here on Friday.
The accused will have to appear in an identification parade during the period.
The accused, Zirakpur residents Sujata and Tabassum, and Odisha native Gokul, were arrested on Thursday, three days after six persons had barged into a Sector 4 house, held its occupants hostage and robbed them of gold worth nearly Rs 1 lakh, Rs 10,000 in cash and an iPhone.
They were produced in the court of chief judicial magistrate Bhawna Jain.
The accused will be sent in police custody if they are identified by the victims robbed on Monday night.
The police had cracked the case on Thursday, with the arrest of three persons from Zirakpur. Five other accused, including the kingpin, are at large.
Police managed to crack the case after the accused had used the mobile phones they had stolen from the victims' residence.
Police have claimed that the stolen items were also recovered from the accused.
