The encounter in north Kashmir's Sopore area entered second day on Wednesday.

Six suspected militants were belived to have been killed so far while two army personnel, including a major, injured.

The firing between security forces and militants started in the morning today and continued till afternoon. The militant is hiding in a house. Two houses are already razed to encounter in the encounter.

On Wednesday, the police claimed five militants were killed. It seems two more militants are at the encounter site. Unconfirmed reports suggest six militants are already dead and seventh, probably the last one, is firing at security forces.
