Former Kila Raipur MLA Jasbir Singh Khangura has moved the Punjab and Haryana high court seeking blanket bail apprehending his implication in some false cases by the ruling SAD-BJP government.

Taking up his petition, the bench headed by justice AK Mittal issued notice of motion to state government for April 3.

Khangura, in his petition, has alleged that SAD's Manpreet Ayali to whom he has lost the recent assembly elections from Dakha constituency has openly given statements that once the SAD government comes back he will teach the petitioner and his family members a lesson.

Jasbir's father Jagpal Singh and brother Satbir Singh are also petitioners in the case and have sought directions from the authorities concerned to issue four working days advance notice to them before arresting them in any case to be registered against them in any part of the state.
