Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday paid floral tributes to former deputy CM Dr Mangel Sein on his 88th birth anniversary on Monday here.

He said the young generation should adopt Dr Sein as role model. He recalled how Dr Sein had started his career as a Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) pracharak and strengthened the Bharatiya Janata Party base in Haryana when the politics of "Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram" (frequent floor-crossing) dominated the state.

"The BJP now has emerges as the largest democratic party not only in the country but also in Haryana," he said. Cabinet ministers Ram Bilas Sharma, Om Parkash Dhankar, Rao Narbir Singh, and Kavita Jain; and minister of state Vikram Singh were present.
