Kings XI Punjab all set for IPL season 7 with the onset of cricket camp

Mohali: Kings XI Punjab is gearing up for the forthcoming IPL season 7 with a cricket camp commencing on April 7. The camp aimed at getting the team together for practice before the upcoming IPL season will be hosted at PCA Stadium, Mohali.

Players like Virender Sehwag, Cheteshwar Pujara, Laxmipathy Balaji, Murali Kartik, Parvinder Awana, Wriddhiman Saha, Mandeep Singh, Manan Vohra, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Sandeep Sharma, Akshar Patel, Anureet Singh, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Singh, Rishi Dhawan will attend the camp.

Sanjay Bangar, Coach KXIP and R. Sridhar, fielding coach will be present on ground to mentor the players.

Commenting on the occasion, promoters of Kings XI Punjab said, “We are happy to mark the onset of upcoming IPL season 7 with this camp. We are very positive as both the team and coaching staff are very talented and we are hopeful of a great performance by the squad this season. This camp will not only help the team warm up physically but also get charged mentally for the tournament.”

Sanjay Bangar, Coach Kings XI Punjab, said, “With the current form of players and the team’s composition, both me and Sridhar are positive that this cricket camp will give the team, the required boost to play good cricket throughout the tournament. We plan to work on the nuances of each player and build on their strengths.”
