Labour Union donates ambulance to Red Cross Society

An ambulance donation-cum-Lohri celebration function was organised by the UT Indian Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Construction Workers Labour Union at Labour Chowk, Sector 44, here on Monday. The function was inaugurated by UT Red Cross Society secretary Balbir Singh Dhol.

An ambulance donation-cum-Lohri celebration function was organised by the UT Indian Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Construction Workers Labour Union at Labour Chowk, Sector 44, here on Monday.


The function was inaugurated by UT Red Cross Society secretary Balbir Singh Dhol. A representative of Construction Workers Labour Union handed over the keys of an ambulance to the society and assured support for such activities in the future.

Dhol appreciated the union workers for donating the ambulance. Blankets were also distributed to the needy by Dhol.

The function was organised under the supervision of Sushil Kumar Taank, training supervisor, Red Cross. Union president Ram Hari Yadav, chairman Ram Dass, general secretary Brij Pal, cashier Gaya Parshad and vice-chairman Joginer Parshad were also present among others.
