In view of the demand from various schools, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for registration of students of classes 9 to 12 for the academic year 2014-15.
According to official sources, registration is mandatory for students to appear in the final examinations of these classes.
The last date for online submission of details of students of classes 9 and 11 (without late fee) has been extended to October 10 from September 30.
The last date of submission of details of these students with late fee is October 30. In case of registration of students of classes 10 and 12 (without late fee), the late date has been extended from October 7 to October 15. With late fee, the details of students of these classes can be submitted till December 15.
In case details of the students are submitted before October 31, a late fee of Rs 250 per candidate will be charged. The late fee will be Rs 350 per candidate in case details are submitted before November 15.
A late fee of Rs 5,000 per candidate will be charged if registration is made before December 15.Upon requests received from various schools, the board had extended the dates, local board officials said.
