Certain documents related to IAS of ficer Ashok Khemka's tenure has been reportedly missing from Haryana State Warehousing Corporation (HSWC) here.

A complaint in this connection has been sent to the Sector 5 police station by HSWC managing director Ramesh Krishan on Thursday.

In his complaint, Krishan stated that the papers regarding the legal advice on the tender of galvalume sheets were missing form HSWC.

Ravinder Kumar, a n RTI activist, had complained to the HSWC about the missing legal advice papers, following which the matter was looked into internally and a police complaint was also lodged.

The whole matter goes back to 2009 when Khemka was the managing director (MD) of HSWC.

Earlier, the Haryana gover nment had decided to ask the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to initiate a probe into the allotment of 18.04 crore work orders for installing galvalume roofing sheets on warehouses to an Ahmedabadbased company, Proflex Systems, by Khemka during his tenure as MD in 2009.

The agriculture department had also cited irregularities in the tendering process in a 2013 communication to the Haryana chief secretary.

A complaint in this connection was received on August 9, 2013, and forwarded to the agriculture department, which prima facie found truth into the charges and recommended an independent inquiry.

While the agriculture department had recommended a probe by the state vigilance bureau into the matter, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda opted for a probe by the central investigating agency.

Later, the gover nment said first it would get the entire tendering process audited from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), and then decide about the CBI investigation into it.
