CBSE Class 12 maths exam, held on Wednesday, did not disappoint the students in the city.
Though there were a few who found the question paper lengthy, most were seen relieved after the paper. "The four marks questions were lengthier than usual but overall the paper was easy," said Sandeep Kaushal of Class 12.
"The maths paper is usually the toughest and so I was really worried about my son who fears this subject the most. I was praying all the time, standing outside the gate but luckily my son came out smiling," said, Madhumita Mishra, a parent.
Parents also complained against the large number of holidays for preparation of maths exam. "So many holidays made the children lazy. They had a very casual approach to it which left me worried. I think the board should make balanced date sheet but I am happy that exam was easy and within the syllabus," said Deepali Arora, another parent.
Commenting on the paper, Harbir Singh, principal of GMSSS-10 said, "The paper was lengthy as per the response of the students but they did not had much of difficulty in solving the questions".
