Convent schools in the city will display the list of eligible candidates for nursery admissions on their notice boards from 10 am to 4pm on Tuesday.
St Anne's Convent School, Carmel Convent School, Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School and St John's High School will upload the list of eligible candidates on their official websites as well.
As per the admission schedule, the schools were supposed to display the list of eligible candidates on December 24.
However, the schools had already obtained permission from the UT education department to extend the date to December 30 as they were closed for winter vacations from December 19.
Parents will have to face a tough time during admissions this year as all the four schools have received over 5,000 application forms.
Last year, the schools had received 4,000 forms for 705 seats.
St Anne's has received 1,850 forms against 225 seats while St John's has received around 1,200 forms for 160 seats.
Sacred Heart received around 1,400 forms for 200 seats and Carmel Convent had received around 1,000 forms for 120 seats.
The draw of lots for admitting students in these schools will begin on January 17.
After the draw of lots, the final list of selected students will be put up on the notice boards and uploaded on the school websites on January 28.
