A man was arrested for creating ruckus at General Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula, on late Friday night. The medical examination confirmed that he was drunk.
As per the police, an accident took place in Manimajra on late Friday night, where one Naseeb, a resident of Ramgarh, hit a rickshaw with his car, in which a woman got injured.
Naseeb brought her to Sector 6-based General Hospital at around 9pm and meanwhile, also called his friend Ravinderjeet, a resident of Sector 8, Panchkula, who reached with his wife.
Dr Gursharan Kaur was on duty at the emergency, when she reportedly asked them to conduct some tests, to which Ravinderjeet objected, as he thought that the woman had received a minor injury in the foot.
He started arguing with the doctor and held her hand to snatch the diagnosis slip. He even pushed her when she was about to call the police. She received injuries in the hand. The police was called and registered her complaint. Inspector Mukesh Kumar, SHO of Sector 5 police station said: "We have arrested Ravinderjeet under Section 186 (obstructing public servant from discharge of duties), Section 353 (for using criminal force to deter public servant from performing his duty) and Section 332 (for voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). His medical was conducted and it was found that he was drunk."
"He was produced before the district courts from where he was bailed out," Mukesh Kumar added.
"There is a CCTV footage confirming the incident," ASI Gurmail Singh, investigating officer of the case said.
