In a shocking incident in Sector 38-west, a man allegedly stabbed his son for being jobless and doing nothing with his life.
Police said Daljit Singh, 42, an advocate, had an argument with his son Tavleen, 24, on Friday evening over his "not doing much in life". On Saturday afternoon, they again had an argument; but this time Daljit was allegedly under the influence of liquor, took out a knife and attacked his son.
Tavleen received injuries in the stomach and right shoulder, and called the cop. He was admitted to a hospital but was stated to be out of danger. The police have registered a case of causing hurt and criminal intimidation under sections 323 and 506 of the IPC.
