Medicines sent to J&K flood victims

Medicines worth rs10 lakh and ration items were sent to J&K flood victims by Nectar Life Sciences Company, Dera Bassi.Company chairman Sanjiv Goyal along with MLA NK Sharma handed over the truck containing the relief materials to army officials.

Apart from this, Welcome Light Commercial Union also handed over a cheque of rs 21,000 to SDM, Dera Bassi.

Nectar president HP Singh said nearly 500 family packs containing bread, milk powder, sugar, tea, dalia, rice, biscuits, Maggi, soaps, towels, tooth paste, tooth brushes and fried grams had been sent along with dry milk and custard for pregnant women and children.

These goods were handed over to Colonel Tehlan, Colonel BB Sharma and Lieutenant Colonel Ramesh Chamo in a truck and would air-lifted to Srinagar from Chandigarh Airport.
