Message of a clean, green Diwali to students

Tiny-tots' Foundation School, Phase 10, organised a session to encourage children to celebrate a clean and green Diwali.The motive of the session was 'Play safe and healthy'. The focus was on burning less firecrackers as well as keeping the surroundings clean. During the session, teachers made students aware of accidents and burns from firecrackers. They were also apprised of how these caused air and land pollution.


Students of Manav Mangal Smart School, Phase 10, SAS Nagar, organised a Diwali awareness march in the neighbourhood of the school to spread the message of a 'Clean India, green India' and motivated people to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali by saying no to crackers.

Students took an oath that they would try to cut down on bursting firecrackers and make every effort to keep their environment pollution free, a step towards making Mother Earth a better place for future generations.
