Chandigarh recorded a low of 11.7 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal, the MeT department said.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a low of 10.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while Hisar's low settled at 8.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.
Karnal registered minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal while Bhiwani's low settled at 8.2 degrees.
In Punjab, Patiala recorded a minimum temperature of 10.2 degrees Celsius, up three notches.
Amritsar residents experienced a cold night at 5.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal. Ludhiana recorded a minimum of 6 degrees, one notch below normal.
