During the official launch of the app, Vijay Dev said this is the first major step towards making Chandigarh a smart city.
He also announced that the app is going to be the first and only official mobile app of the Chandigarh administration to cater with not just awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities but also provides all types of citizen-centric and public-utility services and information.
He further said soon he will give directions to all departments to route all information and updates through this app and also appoint a link officer for the same.
Vijay Dev also asserted that during his tenure he is determined to bring “techtonic shift” in the administration which will focus on performance and grievance redressal.
He directed that the app should become an important platform for grievance redressal to city residents.
