Member of Parliament (MP) Kirron Kher has come out in support of Rohtak girls Aarti and Pooja who beat up their alleged molesters on a Haryana Roadways bus recently.

Kirron, who presided as the chief guest at 28thChrysanthemum show at Terraced Garden in Sector 33, said, “I don't think they are at fault. I feel proud of them. They deserve to be rewarded. They have set an example for other girls as well.”

Despite the recent controversy over the claim of these girls, the actor is confident that the girls will come out clean after the inquiry.

“It is because of the claims in support of the accused that an inquiry has been initiated. Let the proceedings take place. But a case of molestation cannot be overruled,” she said.

When asked about the move of Haryana government to hold back the decision to award these girls, she said, “Haryana chief minister Manohar Khattar is a responsible and intelligent man. I am sure he will take an appropriate decision.”
