The members of Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee (CTCC) has termed the rally by Bharatiya Janata Paty prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as a flop show.

In a joint statement, the party leaders said BJP's claim of 'Modi wave' had fallen flat in Saturday's rally. The statement was issued by senior party leaders, including Rampal Sharma, Subhash Chawla, DD Jindal, HC Kalyan, Pardeep Chhabra, Pawan Sharma,
Ravinder Pali, Davinder Babla, HS Lucky, Shashi Shankar Tiwari, Om Parkash Saini, Poonam Sharma, Davinder Lubana, Lalit Joshi, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Raj Bala Malik, and Kamlesh.

The leaders said on Saturday, the rally had seen a poor turnout. "It showed that BJP is losing in Chandigarh as a senior party leader like Modi also failed to pull the crowd," they said. The CTCC members added, "BJP is banking on Modi to get votes, but the rally on Saturday has shown the party is fighting for an already lost Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat."
