Chairman of the Congress publicity committee for the assembly polls, Naveen Jindal has said he will cooperate with anyone who works for the development of Hisar town, since it is his birthplace.
Addressing an election meeting in Hisar in support of his mother and Congress candidate Savitri Jindal on Tuesday, the former MP while referring to Zee Network chairman Subhash Chandra said, “He is like my elder brother. I will stand by his side if he establishes an industry in Hisar and provides employment to youths of this area.”
Naveen Jindal met voters at their doorsteps and sought their support for his mother. “Our connection with Hisar is not merely political but we also have a social and emotional connect with this place. What my mother has done in a decade for Hisar is a record in itself. New parks, hospitals, schools, roads and potable water are some of the projects she had accomplished successfully.”
Congress leaders Ved Rawal, Bhupendra Gangwa and Colonel Sunder Singh accompanied Naveen Jindal.
