A new law would be soon enacted in Haryana to check cow slaughter, said chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday in Yamunanagar. A bill in this regard might be presented in the budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
The chief minister was responding to the queries of media after listening to the grievances of people at Yamunanagar.
Regarding the traffic congestion in the district, he said, I announced a ring road for Yamunanagar-Jagadhari to decongest the traffic and it would be soon constructed.
In a reply to the question, chief minister said the present BJP government in the state would fulfill all its promise made in the election manifesto of the party.
When asked about giving pay scale to government employees at par with of Punjab, Khattar said the previous Congress government had dug many pits which needed to be filled. The first priority of the government is to improve the fiscal position of the state, he added.
